This internship provides a 12-month opportunity to work directly within Lonza’s biological manufacturing and development operations in Visp. The position requires full-time, on-site presence to ensure technical precision and effective collaboration with manufacturing teams. Interns will play a key role in supporting the transition of biopharmaceutical processes and ensuring production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the technology transfer of biopharmaceutical processes
- Provide technical and scientific support to ensure robust and efficient production workflows
- Focus on downstream processing techniques related to mammalian cell culture
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to support operational goals
- Help with process validation activities
- Manage deviations and support change control processes
- Prepare documentation that complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student in engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in professional settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Visio
- Fluent command of the English language
