IoT Technology Director

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow multidisciplinary IoT, Data Science, and Operations teams of more than 40 people.
• Foster a culture of agility, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Coach leaders and technical experts to ensure the organization can deliver on its ambitions.
• Own the technology roadmap and execution of the BOBST Connect platform alongside the IoT Product Director.
• Define architecture, technology stack, cybersecurity, and cloud strategies to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Promote modern engineering practices including Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and AI-enabled development approaches.
• Partner with Product Lines, Business Units, and commercial teams to maximize customer value.
• Translate business needs into innovative digital solutions and services.
• Present strategic updates and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in software and digital product environments.
• At least 5 years leading large, distributed software development organizations, including nearshore or offshore teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
