Accelleron Industries seeks a Senior IS Application Owner for SAP MM and Track & Trace processes in Baden, Switzerland. The role involves managing SAP MM applications, supporting business processes, and driving digital improvements in a global, innovation-focused environment.

This role requires joining a skilled IT team in Switzerland to manage and enhance SAP MM applications and logistics processes, contributing to the company’s transformation projects and global operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main IT contact for internal Power Users and Business Process Owners on sourcing, procurement, supplier management, inbound logistics, inventory, invoice verification, and part tracking.
- Collaborate with business and Group IS Delivery to plan and execute the application strategy for SAP MM processes.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Accelleron’s processes and application environment.
- Customize SAP systems and define specifications for SAP development projects.
- Manage IT service providers and ensure service quality.
- Support Power Users in maintaining training and knowledge levels; deliver direct end-user training as needed.
- Promote high data quality by working with users to optimize business processes.
- Lead temporary project groups, track progress, and share expertise without formal management authority.
- Maintain up-to-date solution documentation.
- Ensure end-to-end fulfillment of business SLAs.
- Monitor and manage application budget, including regular forecasting.
- Identify, propose, and support business process improvements.
- Work with business stakeholders to find automation and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with business teams to explore new technologies and applications.
- Advise on SAP process improvements before and during implementation.
- Represent Accelleron in IS projects as both Application Owner and Process Engineer.
- Identify digital trends and technologies that improve efficiency or create business value, supporting related projects.
- Ensure quality and IT standards are followed in all process improvements, aligning with service and governance strategies.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, inbound logistics, inventory, invoice verification, and tracking & tracing processes.
- Practical experience in logistics execution within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to consult, design, and improve business processes in a structured, value-focused way.
- Experience in SAP MM consulting and configuration, including Master Data and Business Partner Management.
- Knowledge of SAP PP, QM, Ariba, and SAP FIORI.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international context.
- Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Analytical skills to spot improvement opportunities and assess new technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in application ownership or process engineering within SAP environments.
- Ability to work independently, lead task forces, and coordinate stakeholders without formal authority.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) and solid German language skills.
