Accelleron Industries seeks a Senior IS Application Owner for Test Management to lead QA strategies for its global SAP S/4HANA transformation. This hybrid role in Baden, Switzerland, requires strong SAP and stakeholder management expertise.
The company is looking for a skilled professional to serve as the IS Workstream Lead for Test Management within Program Phoenix, its major SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative, as well as other strategic IT projects. Reporting to the Head of IS Production & Value Chain in Switzerland, this position operates with a global scope, covering production sites in both Switzerland and China. The successful candidate will join a dedicated IT team to define, govern, and continuously enhance testing practices across these critical digital transformation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and oversee the comprehensive test strategy for Program Phoenix and related IT initiatives.
- Direct end-to-end planning and execution of all testing phases, including system integration, user acceptance, regression, security, and non-functional testing.
- Manage key testing milestones such as SIT, UAT, regression, cutover, and post-go-live validation.
- Develop and refine test governance frameworks, including templates, processes, quality gates, and entry/exit criteria.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, implementation partners, and vendors to align test activities with project timelines.
- Create and sustain reusable automated test assets and regression suites to improve efficiency.
- Oversee the management of test tools, cases, defect tracking, dashboards, and status reporting.
- Ensure readiness of test data, environments, and resources in coordination with project teams.
- Monitor testing progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution for quality issues.
- Contribute to the long-term development of Accelleron’s testing capabilities, promoting harmonized methods and increased automation adoption.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in test management or QA leadership, preferably within complex IT programs or SAP S/4HANA transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute test strategies, plans, governance models, and status reports across multiple testing phases.
- Proven success in managing system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, and stakeholder alignment in cross-functional environments.
- Solid understanding of enterprise application landscapes, with a preference for SAP-centric settings.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect management software.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to bridge business and IT teams.
- Deep knowledge of SAP business processes, integrations, and test automation best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and German, written and verbal.
Nice to have
- Practical experience with test automation tools like Tricentis Tosca or similar solutions.
- Familiarity with regression testing, automation strategies, and leveraging reusable assets to enhance testing efficiency.
- Experience using SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
