Michael Page seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst in Geneva to bridge business needs and IT solutions within a global, Agile environment.
This position serves as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams, converting business objectives into actionable technological strategies. The role demands significant experience operating within international and multicultural corporate settings.
Responsibilities
- Partner with global stakeholders to identify, analyze, and record business needs.
- Convert business requirements into precise functional and technical specifications.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and meetings with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of IT solutions that meet business goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA specialists in Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
- Develop and maintain documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Engage in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain end-to-end requirement traceability and verify delivered solutions against business expectations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives for business processes and IT systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- Strong background in international companies with exposure to global and multicultural environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across various time zones.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with requirements management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and integration concepts.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
