IT SAP PP Consultant

Habasit Holding seeks an IT SAP PP Consultant to provide advanced support and drive implementation projects for its global production units.

This position serves as a key technical resource for the company’s manufacturing sites across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, India, and Italy. The consultant is tasked with delivering high-level support for the SAP Production Planning for Process Industries (PP/PI) module, managing rollout initiatives, and guaranteeing that all business processes align with established global templates.

Responsibilities

• Delivers second- and third-tier technical assistance for the SAP PP/PI module.
• Diagnoses and fixes defects within live SAP production systems.
• Assists in the deployment of SAP solutions across various international locations.
• Gathers business needs and converts them into formal SAP Request for Change (RfC) documents.
• Evaluates, codes, and validates business change requests.
• Monitors and enforces compliance with global process templates across all regions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a closely related discipline, typically requiring three to five years of study.
• At least five years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC ERP 6.0, specifically focusing on PP/PI, Warehouse Management (WM), and Quality Management (QM).
• Proven ability to integrate SAP with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience connecting SAP with Warehouse Management Systems, such as Promag.
• Competence in ABAP programming.
• Prior work experience within multinational IT settings.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional SAP modules like Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Fluency in German or Italian is considered a valuable addition.
