Junior Anaplan Financial Planning & Analysis Solution Architect 80-100%

The company seeks a Junior Anaplan Financial Planning & Analysis Solution Architect based in Zürich for a hybrid role within Business Technology Solutions, focusing on solution design and system integration.

This position sits within the Business Technology Solutions team and is responsible for defining and implementing technical solution architecture for Business Steering functions. The role demands regular physical presence at the Corporate Centre Office in Zürich, with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into robust ANAPLAN (Polaris) solutions across Group and Business Unit levels, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and industry best practices.
• Facilitate system integration and technical delivery to maintain seamless data flows between ANAPLAN and platforms like Databricks, utilizing JIRA/ServiceNow and product version control.
• Implement an AI-first methodology to speed up development, minimize manual tasks, and uncover optimization opportunities within the service.
• Partner with business teams, developers, data architects, and IT stakeholders to deliver solutions that satisfy functional and non-functional needs, while explaining technical concepts clearly.
• Help establish architecture standards and drive innovation by maintaining security and quality compliance, while monitoring ANAPLAN and SaaS trends to enhance value in the FP&A ecosystem.

Requirements

• Possess growing expertise in ANAPLAN, including at least three years of experience in Financial Planning, preferably with an ANAPLAN certification (Polaris preferred), and practical exposure to FP&A processes and solution design.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of Databricks/Datalake concepts, ADO, and a solid understanding of SaaS security and compliance principles.
• Exhibit clear communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to translate technical concepts for various audiences, contribute effectively in cross-functional teams, and produce clear documentation and presentations in fluent English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cloud (AWS), Databricks, Advanced Excel, JIRA, Python, and Data Science, combined with strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to managing priorities.
