Junior Anaplan Financial Planning & Analysis Solution Architect 80-100%

Zurich Insurance Group seeks a Junior Anaplan Financial Planning & Analysis Solution Architect in Zürich to design Polaris solutions and drive FP&A innovation.

This position supports the end-to-end design of ANAPLAN (Polaris) solutions at both Group and Business Unit levels. The role focuses on converting business needs into robust architectures that align with strategic goals and industry best practices. By applying an AI-first mindset and adhering to strict security standards, the incumbent helps optimize data flows and accelerate development within the FP&A ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design ANAPLAN (Polaris) solutions across Group and Business Unit scopes.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions that match strategic objectives.
• Manage system integration and technical delivery to ensure smooth data exchange with platforms such as Databricks.
• Utilize an AI-first strategy to speed up development, cut down manual tasks, and spot areas for improvement.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, data architects, and IT teams to meet functional and non-functional needs.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Help define architecture standards and ensure compliance with security and quality protocols.
• Keep up to date with the latest ANAPLAN and SaaS industry trends.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in Financial Planning.
• Developing expertise in ANAPLAN.
• Practical experience with FP&A processes and solution design.
• Foundational knowledge of Databricks and Datalake integration and architecture.
• Solid understanding of SaaS security and compliance principles.
• Ability to create clear documentation and presentations in fluent English.
• Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
• A proactive approach to managing priorities.

Nice to have

• ANAPLAN certification, with Polaris preferred.
• Experience with Cloud (AWS), Databricks, Advanced Excel, JIRA, Python, and Data Science.
