Lead Supply Chain Planner

Scherer & Bühler AG seeks a Lead Supply Chain Planner in Uzwil to oversee project supply chain planning, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely delivery through cross-functional collaboration.

The company is looking for a professional to manage the planning and execution of supply chain activities for customer projects. The main objective is to guarantee precise scheduling that meets business, project, and manufacturing needs, with a strong focus on delivering on time.

Responsibilities

• Translate business data into system-based demand plans, verify factory capacities, and align financial outcomes with targets.
• Evaluate quotations for lead times and assess factory workload against business needs.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Procurement, Shipping, and Manufacturing teams.
• Establish supply chain events for all components based on project strategy, lead times, and available capacities.
• Create, modify, and update event schedules, preparing them for kick-off meetings.
• Monitor major events, track progress, and define proactive actions with Project Managers and Logistics teams in case of delays.
• Serve as the single point of contact within the Sales & Operations Planning Process for Project Managers, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
• Coordinate factory supplies to ensure a balanced plan that matches project priorities with manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven years in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or Project Supply Planning.
• Excellent command of English for communication.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Analysis), and SAP IBP.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills with a customer focus.
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams with strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
