Licensed AOG Technician

Jet Aviation seeks a Licensed AOG Technician in Kloten, CH, to provide rapid on-site maintenance support for Aircraft on Ground situations, ensuring minimal downtime and regulatory compliance.

This position serves as a critical rapid-response expert, delivering immediate on-site maintenance support to resolve Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events. The role is essential for keeping customers flying and ensuring seamless operations through quick diagnosis and repair of aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary responder for AOG incidents, providing immediate technical support at domestic and international sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, avionics, and structural aircraft systems with precision.
• Work closely with maintenance control, engineering, and operations teams to identify corrective actions and expedite solutions.
• Manage the logistics of AOG parts, including sourcing components and coordinating shipments to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate real-time progress updates to customers, OEMs, and Jet Aviation base maintenance stations to build trust.
• Adhere strictly to EASA and FAA regulatory standards as well as company procedures.
• Prepare accurate maintenance documentation and service reports.
• Assist certifying staff in authorizing aircraft return-to-service, ensuring all details meet airworthiness regulations.

Requirements

• Possess a valid EASA and/or FAA Part-66 B1 license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in English.
• Be available for international travel and capable of working independently.

Nice to have

• Hold an EASA and/or FAA Part-66 B2 license.
• Have multiple relevant aircraft type ratings, with experience on Gulfstream aircraft being preferred.
