Baer AG seeks a Lombard Credit Officer in Zürich to analyze collateral, assess risks, and manage credit limits for wealth management clients.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate collateral and exposure, including identifying concentration risks.
- Assess borrowers and collateral providers for structural, legal, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Determine risk ratings for credit facilities.
- Prepare and approve credit limits within delegated authority.
- Apply special lending values and margin terms to client-specific levels.
- Monitor credit exposure and resolve collateral shortfalls and limit excesses.
- Regularly review approved limits.
- Handle administration duties, including fixed-term loan approvals, payments, and securities releases.
- Deputize for other Credit Officers when needed.
- Support relationship managers and stakeholders on credit-related matters.
- Contribute to credit-related projects and process improvements.
- Collaborate with legal to draft non-standard documents for credit transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, banking, finance, law, or equivalent education/experience.
- Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Several years of professional experience in the credit sector (in particular Lombard credit).
- Solid technical knowledge regarding the handling of life insurance policies (wrappers, ULIPs).
- Any additional languages.
