Machine Operator 2

Hologic Medicor Suisse GmbH seeks a Junior Machine Operator 2 for on-site, full-time work on the second shift in Switzerland.

This position focuses on running production machinery to ensure output meets both quality standards and volume targets. The role is specifically scheduled for the second shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery following established protocols and monitor its performance.
• Report equipment malfunctions and symptoms to technical staff when issues arise.
• Help with preventive maintenance tasks by adhering to set procedures.
• Handle materials as needed during the production process.
• Ensure proper separation of items and accurate recording of lot or receiving numbers.
• Keep the workspace tidy and organized at all times.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE guidelines, SOPs, work instructions, and GMP standards.
• Enter data into lot and quality control records as necessary.
• Gather in-process samples for testing during production runs.
• Take on additional duties, including tasks typically assigned to Operator 1.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• One to two years of experience working as a manufacturing operator.
