The company seeks a Manager for Capital Markets in Zürich to lead transaction projects, advise on accounting standards, and manage client relationships within the CMAAS team.
This position sits within the Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Solutions (CMAAS) team, where the primary focus is executing transaction projects. The role aims to assist clients in navigating complexity to build trust and gain a competitive edge.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver on transaction projects, such as IPOs, debt and equity offerings, and cross-border deals.
- Provide guidance on acquisitions and disposals, including handling complex financial histories, pro-forma statements, and carve-out reporting across various capital markets.
- Advise clients on changes to accounting standards and manage GAAP conversion projects.
- Cultivate and expand client relationships while supporting business development and client acquisition efforts.
- Enhance leadership capabilities by teaching, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in Switzerland or another country.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Swiss GAAP FER) along with relevant industry credentials and transaction experience.
- Possess 4-5 years of experience in audit senior or manager roles, or similar positions.
- Show a proven track record in project management, client management, and a high-risk services orientation.
- Fluency in English, German, or French at an excellent level, both written and verbal.
- Strong communication skills, client-oriented mindset, flexibility, and willingness to travel and work within an international network.
