Manager - Consulting - Technology Strategy and Transformation

EY is seeking a Manager for its Technology Strategy and Transformation consulting practice in Zürich. The role involves advising CXO-level executives on digital transformation, IT strategy, and enterprise intelligence.

In this position, the consultant will guide clients through complex technology changes, focusing on digital transformation, IT operating models, and enterprise intelligence. The role requires working directly with senior executives to align technology initiatives with broader business goals while developing personal leadership and consultancy skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with engagement teams to execute client strategies involving people, processes, and technology changes.
• Manage and lead small groups of consultants within technology transformation projects.
• Ensure the quality and timely delivery of work products for clients and stakeholders.
• Take full responsibility for project budgets, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks during engagements, escalating issues to senior leadership as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both client executives and internal EY teams.
• Participate in recruiting efforts and contribute to initiatives focused on talent retention.
• Continuously improve personal skills through EY's educational programs.

Requirements

• A Master's degree from a recognized university with strong academic performance.
• At least six years of experience in Big Four firms, strategy consultancies, or industry technology departments.
• Demonstrated experience in managing people and projects.
• Proven track record in senior client relationship management.
• Fluency in English, German, and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as ITIL, SCRUM, PMI, or PRINCE2.
• Familiarity with technology strategy domains including IT strategy, digital transformation, infrastructure, cloud strategy, service resiliency, enterprise architecture, and IT service management.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications and platforms like ServiceNow, Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Dynamics, Azure), AWS, Google Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Veeva, IQVIA, Salesforce, and Pega.
• Understanding of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, deep learning, and advanced predictive modeling.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages like C++, Java, or Python.
