Operations Specialist 2

Hologic Medicor Suisse GmbH seeks an Operations Specialist 2 to facilitate operational excellence and continuous improvement within a regulated women's health environment.

This position serves as an Operational Excellence Facilitator dedicated to implementing Shingo Principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The specialist supports systems and operations leaders in creating and executing strategies that enhance operational performance while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable engagement and progress.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out activities aligned with the operational excellence model.
• Create and deliver training programs focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Enhance and maintain operational excellence systems, tools, and methodologies.
• Track behavior adoption using scorecards, pulse checks, and visual management dashboards.
• Organize logistics for internal training sessions and corporate events.
• Assist in coordinating site visits, tours, and internal meetings.
• Work with system leaders to document and execute activities within the Strategic Alignment System.
• Encourage site managers to promote mindsets and behaviors consistent with operational excellence.
• Ensure cross-functional teams effectively implement operational excellence frameworks.
• Conduct assessments of operational excellence tools and systems.
• Report on the status, progress, and outcomes of operational excellence initiatives.
• Provide technical support and guidance on applying operational excellence methods.
• Lead benchmarking efforts to identify and adopt best practices.
• Recognize and celebrate behaviors that align with Shingo principles.
• Handle administrative tasks for the site leadership team.
• Compile reports on production metrics, project status, and corporate KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Two to five years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality systems, or communications within a regulated industry.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, huddles, meetings, and team activities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in process documentation, project planning, and event coordination.

Nice to have

• Training or certification in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Shingo Principles.
