The company is looking for a professional to handle order processing at its Baar facility. This role involves managing the complete order lifecycle through standard systems while ensuring strict adherence to quality protocols and providing necessary logistical guidance to both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders received via phone, fax, email, or digital platforms.
- Maintain compliance with all established quality system standards.
- Offer logistical advice to sales staff and clients.
- Address customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, costs, and billing.
- Oversee order fulfillment, track deliveries, and resolve issues in a compliant manner.
- Manage back orders, including reservations for non-essential items and updating client records.
- Keep standing orders for reagents up to date.
- Provide professional support for shared service duties across divisions.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as an Office Clerk.
- Fundamental understanding of the company's instruments, reagents, and customer base.
- Proficient in order processing systems, particularly AS400.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including telephone etiquette.
- Fluency in the local languages required for the position.
- A customer-focused approach to work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Nice to have
- English language proficiency is considered a plus.
