Output Software Engineer - Platform Solution

Avaloq seeks a Mid-Senior Output Software Engineer in Bioggio to build data extraction pipelines and generate compliant client documents using ACP.

This position sits within the Output team of the Platform Solution CH/FL domain. The primary objective is to handle data extraction via ACP and produce client-facing reports. The engineer ensures that complex financial or operational data is accurately transformed and presented in a format that meets compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Create, code, and upkeep data extraction pipelines leveraging ACP.
• Build and sustain automated systems for producing advice and layout statements.
• Partner with business analysts, product owners, and client service groups to establish output specifications.
• Guarantee the prompt, consistent, and high-quality delivery of client communications.
• Enhance output generation processes for better performance, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
• Track and resolve issues in output workflows to preserve data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Record technical specifications, operational workflows, and best practices for output generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• At least three years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Proficient coding abilities in Python, Java, or C#.
• Practical experience with document templating engines and output formatting technologies such as PDF, HTML, or XML.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different functions.

Nice to have

• Understanding of financial or operational reporting standards.
• Direct experience with ACP (Avaloq Core Platform) or comparable data extraction frameworks.
• Familiarity with Client Communication Management tools like Quadient, Assentis CCM, or CSF.
