Responsibilities
- Investigate core mathematical concepts that underpin contemporary artificial intelligence systems.

- Support educational efforts by serving as a teaching assistant for relevant courses.
Requirements
- Possess a Master's degree in pure or applied mathematics, theoretical physics, statistics, or a closely related discipline, or be in the final stages of completing such a degree.
- Demonstrate a robust academic background in areas such as analysis, probability theory, stochastic processes, statistical physics, optimal transport, dynamical systems, optimization, or machine learning theory.
- Show a genuine interest in the theoretical principles driving modern AI or related scientific problems.
- Exhibit the capacity to conduct independent research while working effectively within a team.
- Communicate fluently in English, both in writing and speech.
