The International AIDS Society seeks a PLM Product Owner in Zürich to bridge Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, ensuring accurate product data and streamlined workflows.
This position acts as the central link between Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams. The primary goal is to transform complex operational needs into clear, efficient processes, ensuring that product data flows quickly and remains precise across the entire ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers, key users, and process owners to convert business processes into effective PLM workflows.
- Enhance PLM workflows, specifically managing Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN), Bill of Materials (BOM), and document control.
- Collect requirements for PLM implementation and manage the prioritization of the task backlog.
- Serve as the main point of contact for PLM data across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain departments.
- Maintain data integrity within the PLM system, ensuring adherence to export control regulations and internal project standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience using CAD and PLM systems.
- Strong grasp of configuration management, change management, and product lifecycle management software, including Siemens Teamcenter and MS Dynamics.
- Solid knowledge of QMS systems and data management strategies.
- A university degree (M.Sc/B.Sc) in a scientific discipline or equivalent relevant education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
