Destinusgroup in Zürich seeks a Senior PLM Product Owner to streamline product data across engineering, production, and supply chain. The role focuses on optimizing PLM workflows, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting UAV development for defense applications.
This role exists to simplify complexity within Destinusgroup’s engineering and production ecosystem. It connects Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure product data flows quickly and remains accurate, supporting the company’s mission to deliver advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for defense and government agencies worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers, key users, and process owners to translate operational needs into effective PLM workflows.
- Optimize PLM processes such as Engineering Change Requests/Notices (ECR/ECN), Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and document control.
- Collect input for PLM system enhancements and manage the backlog of pending tasks with clear prioritization.
- Serve as the main point of contact between Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain for all PLM-related data matters.
- Maintain data accuracy and compliance within the PLM system, including adherence to export control laws and project-specific standards.
Requirements
- Practical experience using CAD and PLM systems.
- Strong knowledge of configuration and change management, along with PLM software such as Siemens Teamcenter and MS Dynamics.
- Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and data management strategies.
- University degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) in a scientific field or equivalent education.
- Proactive mindset and readiness to travel internationally between company sites.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities in English.
