SHL Medical seeks a Senior PLM Solution Architect in Zug to design scalable, MedTech-compliant Teamcenter solutions and lead end-to-end integrations.
The company is looking for an experienced architect to define and guide the implementation of scalable PLM solutions within Teamcenter, ensuring compliance with MedTech regulations. This role supports Engineering, Quality, and Industrialization processes by harmonizing workflows and assessing current data flows to propose strategic, maintainable alternatives.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate business needs and help build internal Teamcenter solutions while keeping the existing system stable.
- Manage end-to-end integrations between Teamcenter and connected systems like SAP, MES, and Polarion, including documentation.
- Work closely with process owners and subject matter experts to clarify solution scope, risks, and system constraints.
- Ensure all implemented solutions follow global governance rules, best practices, and compliance standards for regulated industries.
- Deploy approved solution components in Teamcenter based on validated business definitions, focusing on maintainability and traceability.
- Analyze system feedback and behaviors to drive continuous improvements, harmonized workflows, and reduced user friction.
- Facilitate communication across business domains to align ownership and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Train team members and users on new PLM features to boost adoption and process maturity.
- Contribute to the overall PLM vision, roadmap, and solution architecture.
- Ensure the Teamcenter solution supports scalability and maintains a high-quality, end-to-end process architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Teamcenter Solution Architect, including design, configuration, and integration.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to align with process owners, engineers, and IT teams.
- Advanced skills in solution design and process modeling to create harmonized solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of PLM processes across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Experience planning and managing solution work packages within release trains.
- High analytical capability to derive maintainable system improvements from complex information.
- Ability to self-manage workloads efficiently.
- Experience in regulated industries with knowledge of compliance and traceability standards.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies; certification is preferred.
- German language skills.
