Tecan Group AG seeks a Senior CAD / PDM Administrator in Switzerland to manage CAD and PDM systems, support global innovation, and ensure system reliability and efficiency across all sites.
This role supports Tecan's global innovation and operational efficiency by overseeing CAD and PDM systems, ensuring they are reliable, up-to-date, and aligned with internal processes and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of internal processes, tools, and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders across all Tecan locations.
- Maintain the availability, performance, and updates of CAD and PDM systems, coordinating closely with the IT team.
- Offer first-level technical support to colleagues, share knowledge, and assist them in maximizing system usage.
- Evaluate new software versions, manage upgrade preparations and execution, and gather user feedback to improve tools.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials, and conduct training sessions for users.
- Serve as a technical lead for CAD power users and act as a local SAP Power User.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering background.
- More than 5 years of experience with PTC and Creo, including Windchill administration.
- Basic SAP user experience and advanced IT knowledge covering both hardware and software.
- Familiarity with scripting and basic programming.
- Fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and reliably as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, able to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
