Accelleron Industries seeks a Senior Mechanical Designer in Baden, Switzerland, to develop axial turbocharger components that enhance energy efficiency and reduce emissions in transport and marine sectors.
This position is located in Baden, Switzerland, and involves working within a worldwide team dedicated to advancing axial turbocharger technology. The role plays a key part in engineering solutions that improve energy efficiency and lower emissions for the transport and marine industries.
Responsibilities
- Create mechanical designs and documentation for turbocharger parts across their full lifecycle.
- Produce 2D and 3D designs alongside product documentation for advanced and durable turbocharger systems.
- Engage in product development and change management activities, handling design tasks throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assume design accountability for specific tasks and project phases.
- Collaborate with product groups across the entire value chain within international and intercultural teams.
- Assist in the approval process for first articles and quality standards with Asian partners.
- Take part in quality assurance activities, including addressing non-conformances.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in mechanical design or engineering (MSc, BSc, Technician, or equivalent).
- Possess at least two years of experience in mechanical design.
- Demonstrate proficiency in 3D CAD tools, preferably Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Have familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Be fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Experience with rotating machinery, turbomachinery, or engine components.
