EPFL seeks a Postdoc in Generative AI to develop real-time video generation, digital doubles, and human-like avatars within the VITA lab.

This postdoctoral researcher role sits within the Laboratory of Visual Intelligence for Transportation (VITA) at EPFL. The position focuses on advancing Generative AI by creating novel techniques for real-time video generation, digital doubles, and human-like avatars.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement novel approaches for real-time video generation.
• Create digital double technologies.
• Develop human-like avatar systems.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Vision.
• Background in Computer Science.
• Research experience in generative AI and deep learning.
• Strong computational and analytical skills, as well as experience handling large datasets.
• Independent, creative, and solution-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills, team player.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
