Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, Video (R&D)

Logitech seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to develop video algorithms and pipelines for consumer webcams at its Lausanne R&D center.

The Video AI/ML Technology Development Team at Logitech leads the creation of advanced AI and machine learning algorithms for video pipelines used in edge peripherals and host devices. Based at the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, this role focuses on product and technology development for consumer webcams and applications, collaborating closely with software and hardware teams across North America and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, optimize, and deploy AI/ML models and video processing pipelines across the entire lifecycle, including porting to embedded and hosted platforms.
• Establish best practices to translate advanced research into practical, innovative solutions that shape the future of human-machine interaction.
• Partner with Logitech’s Technology Office to build a technology portfolio focused on disruptive innovation.

Requirements

• At least 5–6 years of professional experience in algorithm development, particularly in signal processing and AI/ML for live video.
• Proven track record of deploying deep learning models into real-world consumer products.
• Strong hands-on expertise with modern AI/ML techniques and toolchains, covering architecture, training, evaluation, optimization, and porting to embedded systems (Linux/Android) and client platforms (MacOS/Windows).
• Experience training and scaling models on distributed computing clusters such as AWS, GCP, or HPC environments.
• Familiarity with data engineering practices, including data collection, generation, augmentation, and governance.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices for embedded systems or host clients.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Transformers and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• PhD in a relevant discipline.
