Senior AI Developer

Lenovo seeks a Senior AI Developer to design and implement Generative and Agentic AI systems. The role requires strong expertise in LLMs, cloud infrastructure, and end-to-end solution delivery within an on-site setting in Switzerland.

This position is dedicated to creating advanced AI architectures and user interfaces that support the organization's strategic goals. The successful candidate will focus on building robust inference engines and agents, ensuring that Generative and Agentic AI solutions are effectively integrated into various operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Build complete AI systems utilizing Large, Small, and Vision Language Models alongside appropriate frameworks.
• Deploy AI capabilities into cloud, on-premise, and edge infrastructure while integrating them with current platforms.
• Choose and apply specific AI tools and technologies to enhance system scalability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain strict security protocols, including encryption, access control, and vulnerability management, across all AI deployments.
• Implement AIOps and development best practices to support both experimental phases and production stability.
• Produce technical documentation and assist pre-sales teams with solution design and RFP responses.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in AI/ML, data science, NLP, computer vision, or Generative AI.
• Minimum of two years of practical experience delivering end-to-end Generative AI solutions, with a preference for multi-modal applications.
• Demonstrated familiarity with major LLM ecosystems such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Hugging Face, or Bedrock.
• Solid knowledge of cloud and on-premise environments, including proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Proven track record in MLOps, LLMOps, or AIOps, including experience with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and React, along with scripting languages.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA technologies, including GPUs, CUDA, and TensorRT.
