Eraneos seeks a Senior Consultant for Generative & Agentic AI in Zürich to design, build, and deploy intelligent agent systems and AI solutions for clients, bridging technical implementation with strategic business impact.
The company is looking for an experienced consultant to lead the development and integration of advanced AI and agentic systems. This role focuses on transforming innovative concepts into reliable, production-ready solutions while directly advising clients on technical feasibility and business value.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete AI solution lifecycle, moving from initial prototyping to scalable, high-availability production deployments.
- Develop reliable backend services using Python, ensuring seamless integration of modern LLMs that perform well under heavy loads.
- Create intelligent agent frameworks that automate workflows via tool calling and memory management, operating within strict safety boundaries.
- Embed agentic tools into the software development process to improve efficiency in coding, reviewing, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure high code quality through clean architecture, automated testing, and robust CI/CD pipelines for dependable releases.
- Establish metrics to track GenAI performance, including accuracy, latency, and cost, to drive ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate closely with clients by leading workshops and advising management on translating complex AI concepts into tangible business outcomes.
- Evaluate technical viability and guide stakeholders in converting novel ideas into sustainable, production-ready products.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization, testing, Git, and CI/CD, extending well beyond simple scripting.
- Proven ability to rapidly construct and present demos and proof-of-concepts.
- Strong grasp of Clean Architecture, dependency injection, async/concurrency patterns, and ORMs like SQLAlchemy for efficient database work.
- Hands-on experience with leading LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and cloud platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock).
- Advanced skills in prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON), and tool/function calling.
- Experience building full pipelines involving embeddings, vector databases (pgvector), retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation.
- Background in designing and orchestrating autonomous systems (e.g., Pydantic AI) with memory management and guardrails.
- Direct client-facing experience, including facilitating workshops and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Fluent German (C1) and professional English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud environments and relevant certifications for Azure, AWS, or GCP.
