Principal Quality and Reliability Engineer

Amazon Switzerland seeks a Principal Quality and Reliability Engineer to lead Q&R activities for Annapurna Labs' IC product lines, ensuring product quality and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

This position is responsible for guaranteeing that Annapurna Labs' semiconductor products align with customer expectations. The role provides comprehensive visibility into the entire semiconductor production lifecycle and requires collaboration with experts across various technology domains within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality and reliability initiatives for a specific integrated circuit product line.
• Define the technical strategy and roadmap.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a group of quality and reliability engineers.
• Collaborate directly with Annapurna's clients to troubleshoot issues and minimize hardware-related defects.
• Conduct analysis for returned merchandise authorization cases.
• Develop testing strategies for semiconductors and enhance fabrication process yields.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline, supplemented by hands-on professional experience; a Master's or Doctorate is beneficial.
• Proven track record in defining, executing, and analyzing quality and reliability tests for semiconductors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and guide teams of integrated circuit quality and reliability professionals.
• Extensive understanding of semiconductor physics, VLSI design, manufacturing, testing, failure analysis, reliability engineering, and statistical methods.
• Solid grasp of semiconductor fabrication techniques.
• Hands-on experience with integrated circuit and system-level testing and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of production workflows within the semiconductor sector.
• Background in collaborating with outsourced assembly and test providers as well as original design manufacturers.
• Potential for future relocation to the United States.
