Procurement Intern

Nestle seeks a Procurement Intern in Vevey to assist with sourcing strategies, supplier management, and data analysis within a global, hybrid work environment.

This internship provides support to the Category Procurement team by helping to execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive business improvement projects on a global scale. The successful candidate will work closely with Category Managers, external suppliers, and internal stakeholders across various markets and functions to align procurement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist Category Managers in executing sourcing strategies and preparing tender documentation.
• Examine spending patterns, supplier performance, and market trends to uncover opportunities and aid decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to collect requirements and synchronize procurement efforts.
• Help with supplier onboarding, Procure-to-Pay processes, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
• Contribute to strategic projects and business continuity efforts through reporting, presentations, and risk analysis.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Possess a strong analytical mindset with proficient Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Be fluent in English.
