Roche seeks a Student Intern for Supply Chain Operations in Kaiseraugst. The role involves supporting continuous improvement projects and managing the intern lifecycle within a collaborative logistics team.
This internship places the candidate within a dynamic host team of up to fifteen members in Kaiseraugst, working directly alongside seasoned Customer Logistics Managers and an apprentice. The group serves as the core engine for order fulfillment, responsible for tracking and optimizing shipments from the moment an order is entered until it reaches the final destination.
Responsibilities
- Apply academic knowledge to continuous improvement initiatives that help shape the future of the organization.
- Oversee the complete internship cycle, including assisting with the recruitment of new interns, facilitating their onboarding and training, and ensuring a smooth handover of responsibilities.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a university program focused on supply chain management, business administration, life sciences, IT/computer science, or a related field, or have completed such studies within the past year.
- Demonstrate mandatory proficiency in English.
- Possess strong self-management capabilities.
- Be proficient in standard analysis, presentation, and process flow software, including Google tools/gSuite, Excel, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, and Smartsheet.
- Non-Swiss/EU/EFTA citizens must provide official confirmation from their university that the internship is a compulsory part of their degree program.
