Roche seeks a Procurement Partnering Lead for Pharma Technical Operations in Basel to drive customer-centric procurement strategies and strategic business partnerships.
Positioned within the Business Partnering group, this role supports Pharma Technical Operations by embedding customer centricity into Global Procurement. The position exists to help prevent, stop, and cure diseases while ensuring broader healthcare access through strategic alignment and value delivery.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic advisory relationships with senior internal stakeholders within Pharma Technical Operations.
- Anticipate business needs and identify opportunities to enhance the overall value delivered by procurement services.
- Design and execute a targeted customer strategy that focuses efforts on maximizing value for the business.
- Serve as a domain expert, providing business insights to the wider procurement organization.
- Develop and sustain long-term plans tailored to support the success of specific business customers.
- Act as the main liaison for key senior business clients, leveraging internal procurement networks.
- Promote and ensure adherence to company policies, tools, and processes among business partners.
- Collaborate with the broader Global Procurement team to prioritize foundational projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in business or life sciences.
- Over 10 years of experience in multi-category procurement, or equivalent leadership in sales or customer management.
- Proven track record of establishing productive relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and influence negotiations at a senior level.
- Business-level fluency in English.
