The company seeks a Senior Procurement Business Partner for its Villeret site to align local procurement with global strategies, ensuring supply reliability, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position acts as the main procurement liaison for the Villeret manufacturing site leadership. It bridges global procurement directives with on-site execution to enhance operational efficiency, support product innovation, and ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Global Procurement teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main procurement liaison for the Villeret site leadership team.
  • Guarantee a steady supply of materials and services to meet production targets.
  • Identify and address potential supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Help achieve site performance goals and track key operational metrics.
  • Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, focusing on delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Lead efforts to resolve supplier issues and implement recovery plans.
  • Build partnerships that align with long-term business objectives.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with quality management systems and relevant regulations.
  • Assist with supplier audits, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and change control processes.
  • Keep procurement records organized and ready for audits.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other teams to support new product launches and modifications.
  • Participate in design-to-cost projects and sourcing strategy development.
  • Ensure suppliers are prepared for industrialization and production scaling.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and create value for the business.
  • Implement global procurement strategies at the site level.
  • Provide clear reporting on procurement performance.
  • Support procurement transformation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Global Procurement.
  • Serve as a key connection between site needs and global procurement goals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in procurement within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and improving supplier performance.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), product changes, or new product introductions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, prioritize tasks, and achieve results.
  • Fluency in French and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience leading procurement transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or comparable quality standards.
