Ypsomed seeks a Product Manager for its Ypsomat 1ml autoinjector line in Burgdorf, Switzerland. This mid-level role focuses on commercial strategy, cross-functional leadership, and supporting sales efforts for self-medication systems.
Ypsomed is a family-owned leader in injection and infusion systems for self-medication. This position serves as a central link between departments, providing functional leadership to interdisciplinary teams and driving the commercial success of specific product variants within the Ypsomat platform.
Responsibilities
- Create commercial strategies, pricing structures, and value propositions alongside Sales and Business Management teams.
- Equip sales personnel with training on platform positioning, competitive advantages, and value-based messaging to support key opportunities.
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison and contribute to variant development projects for injection systems.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and assume ownership of assigned product variants following their commercial launch.
- Independently address diverse challenges spanning technical, quality, logistical, and commercial domains.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in marketing, business development, or product management, ideally within medical technology or pharmaceuticals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities to analyze markets, competitors, and customer needs for effective marketing mixes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a proactive attitude and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Fluency in both English and German at a C1 level.

- Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to engage with complex technical subjects, particularly for candidates with a business background.
