Symbios Orthopédie seeks a Mid-level Product Manager in Yverdon-les-Bains to oversee the strategic and operational lifecycle of its Knee product portfolio, ensuring market alignment and regulatory compliance.

The company is looking for a professional to lead the strategic and operational management of its Knee product portfolio. This position involves defining product strategies, overseeing development from concept to launch, and ensuring that offerings satisfy market demands while adhering to regulatory standards and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to establish strategic directions, develop product strategies, and create launch plans based on market insights.
  • Engage directly with sales managers in the field to gain a deep understanding of regional markets, hospitals, and country-specific differences.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from sales teams and orthopedic surgeons to identify market needs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, including surgeons, to involve them in product development and Strategic Vision Planning.
  • Lead interdisciplinary project teams to define and develop new products, guiding them from initial ideas to global market introduction.
  • Support the regulatory affairs department with go-to-market activities, including designing labels in collaboration with regulatory experts.
  • Oversee the phase-in of new products and the phase-out of existing ones.
  • Develop global training content for internal and external audiences and serve as a subject matter expert during training sessions.
  • Produce various marketing materials, such as brochures, surgical technique guides, instrumentation datasheets, presentations, demos, and banners.
  • Manage external service providers for content creation, update webpage content, and handle annual forecasting for marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (Biomedical or Mechanical), Life Sciences, or an equivalent mix of technical and business education.
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role within the medical technology sector.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Solid knowledge of WordPress.
  • Experience in project monitoring and management.
  • Proactive and autonomous mindset with strong adaptability to changes and unforeseen events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and partners.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including high-quality writing, spelling, and grammar.
  • Native proficiency in French.
  • Very good command of English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in establishing training and education programs for surgeons and sales teams.
  • German language skills.
