Product Owner (software) - CH, LU or UK

ClearSpace seeks a Senior Product Owner to lead the ATLAS software platform across CH, LU, or UK. This solo role reports to the CEO and will evolve into a team leadership position.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of ATLAS, the central software platform supporting the entire lifecycle of space programmes. Starting as an individual contributor, the role holder will define the product strategy and gradually build a dedicated product team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and priority list for the ATLAS platform.
• Convert operational challenges into precise, testable product specifications.
• Conduct structured discovery sessions with internal users and external partners.
• Make and justify prioritization choices within a complex, mission-critical context.
• Manage the complete user experience, including workflows, information architecture, and interaction patterns.
• Balance the needs of technical users with the clarity required by non-technical stakeholders.
• Set design standards and continuously improve usability and clarity.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.
• Design and implement AI-driven automation and agent workflows within ATLAS.
• Own and shape the end-to-end technical architecture of the platform.
• Represent ATLAS in discussions with customers and partners.
• Define, hire, and lead a small product team as the platform scales.

Requirements

• Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, mission-critical or enterprise software products.
• Strong full-stack systems understanding, with the ability to reason across UX, backend, APIs, data, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted or AI-native development approaches in real products.
• Strong UX instincts and experience making and defending design decisions.
• Ability to operate effectively in a lean environment with significant autonomy.

Nice to have

• Experience in the space sector, aerospace, or other safety-critical domains.
• Exposure to satellite operations, ground segment systems, or mission lifecycle tooling.
• Experience working with or for space agencies or major institutional partners.
• Familiarity with multi-country or multi-entity organisational environments.
