Production Manager (M/F) – 100%

Emile Egger und Cie SA seeks a Production Manager in Cressier to lead manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and efficiency for pumps and parts while coordinating with global sites.

The company is looking for a leader to oversee the entire production department, covering machining, assembly, and maintenance. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality pumps and components on schedule while fostering stronger ties with the firm's international manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct all production activities, including machining, assembly, metalwork, maintenance, and workshop scheduling.
• Establish, track, and evaluate key production metrics to monitor performance.
• Partner with the Technical Department and project managers to align operational goals.
• Design and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflows.
• Work closely with the Quality Department to maintain strict product standards.
• Manage and reduce production costs at the Cressier facility.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations within the plant.
• Contribute to product strategy development and adjust operations to match strategic shifts.
• Formulate the production strategy and recommend necessary capital investments.
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Attend and contribute to Management Team meetings.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable role within one-unit or small-batch manufacturing environments.
• Solid understanding of machining techniques, processes, and associated tools.
• Demonstrated ability in natural leadership and production management.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Proven track record in managing projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic financial literacy.
• Fluency in both French and English.

• Knowledge of the German language.
