Project Manager, Store Planning – Swiss Markets

GetF Chatelain SA seeks a Senior Project Manager for Store Planning in Geneva to oversee architectural and design projects across the Swiss Markets region.

This position supports the Regional Boutique Architecture team by managing architectural and design initiatives for Fashion and Watches & Fine Jewelry across Switzerland, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, and India. The role requires handling multiple store planning projects simultaneously, including new openings, renovations, and maintenance, while collaborating with the Global Boutique Architecture Team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee several architectural and interior design projects at once, ensuring each meets specific timelines and reporting standards.
  • Independently lead defined work scopes through all phases, from initial due diligence and design development to construction, cost management, and post-opening support.
  • Coordinate complex builds across standalone structures, shopping centers, and historically protected locations.
  • Ensure all projects align with global architectural standards, brand image, sustainability goals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal departments such as finance, legal, real estate, procurement, operations, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Senior Store Planning Manager to coordinate with Peter Marino Architects and IMAGE teams.
  • Manage relationships with landlords, local authorities, consultants, contractors, and local architects under regional supervision.
  • Prepare and maintain structured project documentation, schedules, budgets, feasibility studies, and reporting tools.
  • Provide clear, accurate project reporting on status, risks, costs, and timelines to regional leadership.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Architecture or Design.
  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable environment (architectural firms or retail design agencies).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design development, construction documentation, and execution.
  • Experience working with global standards, brand guidelines, and external architecture partners.
  • Strong data, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Highly structured, organized, and detail-oriented with strong project management discipline.
  • Fluent English.

  • French language proficiency (strongly preferred).
  • Additional languages.
