Purchaser

Anavia seeks a Junior Purchaser in Näfels, CH, to manage supplier orders, track deliveries, and ensure material availability through operational procurement and supply chain coordination.

This position is responsible for overseeing the movement of goods from external vendors to internal teams. The role centers on processing orders, forecasting needs, and monitoring lead times to maintain a smooth supply flow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the transfer of materials from vendors to internal departments
• Guarantee that supplies arrive on schedule, in the right amounts, and meet quality standards
• Avoid stockouts and excessive inventory levels
• Address and resolve any delivery complications that occur
• Handle day-to-day procurement tasks
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers
• Generate, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders
• Assist with bringing new suppliers onboard and keep their master data accurate
• Spot potential supply chain risks and report them appropriately
• Coordinate logistics and shipment activities
• Prepare shipping and customs paperwork when necessary
• Monitor shipment progress to provide clear delivery status updates

Requirements

• Early career experience in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics
• Hands-on background in operational purchasing or buying activities
• Knowledge of inventory management tools and ERP platforms
• Fundamental grasp of logistics operations, transport methods, and material handling
• A structured and process-driven approach to work
• Fluent communication abilities in both English and German
