Hexagon Robotics seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer in Zürich to lead quality management systems and ISO 9001 certification for its AEON humanoid robot assembly lines.
This hands-on position sits within the manufacturing team at Hexagon Robotics, a company building humanoid robots to help industrial sectors overcome labor shortages and move toward autonomous operations. The primary focus is on creating robust testing processes that allow the AEON robot to be assembled at scale.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the company’s Quality Management System.
- Lead the effort to achieve ISO 9001 certification for the AEON assembly lines.
- Handle non-conformity and deviation workflows, covering everything from incoming materials to post-sales support.
- Assist with Supplier Quality Management tasks.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Capability to interpret mechanical and electronic drawings and schematics.
- Demonstrated background in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience utilizing metrology, statistical analysis tools, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional testing for electromechanical assemblies.
- Understanding of traceability standards, such as serial number or lot tracking.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or outsourced production lines.
