Regulatory and Start Up Specialist - Switzerland

IQVIA AG seeks a Regulatory and Start Up Specialist in Basel for a remote role. The position requires German fluency and focuses on site activation and regulatory compliance within clinical research.

This home-based role serves as the central liaison for investigative sites, ensuring that site activation activities comply with local and international regulations. The specialist supports project timelines and coordinates with internal teams to facilitate the efficient launch of clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for investigative sites, Site Activation Managers, and project management teams.
• Execute site activation and startup tasks in line with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and verify the accuracy of site regulatory documentation before distribution.
• Maintain internal databases and tracking tools with precise project-specific data.
• Monitor site performance metrics and provide feedback to management.
• Collaborate on project planning and timeline establishment with Site Activation Managers.
• Track the approval, execution, and release of key documents, including Informed Consent Forms and Investigator Packs.
• Implement contingency plans and ensure monitoring measures are active when necessary.
• Communicate the completion status of regulatory and contractual documents to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline, plus three years of experience in clinical research or a similar field.
• Fluency in German is mandatory for this position.
