This internship sits within the Operations Support & Compliance team at Roche Pharma Technical Development in Basel. The position involves analyzing how new regulations affect current systems, equipment, and software, helping the company adapt its processes to meet evolving standards.
Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate literature relevant to the project scope.
- Understand standard operating procedures (SOPs) and gain familiarity with manufacturing and analytical tools.
- Develop a plan for updating existing equipment software, including identifying risks and proposing solutions.
- Regularly update supervisors on progress and define subsequent actions.
- Prepare a comprehensive final report summarizing findings.
- Analyze draft Annex 11 guidelines to clarify expectations for supplier and service management.
- Propose three specific actions to ensure compliance with regulatory demands.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university or graduated within the last 12 months.
- Strong proficiency in MS-Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work accurately and reliably within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) setting.
- Collaborative mindset with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Independent work style focused on problem-solving.
- Non-EU/EFTA applicants must provide a university certificate confirming the internship is mandatory for their degree and proof of enrollment for the full duration.
Nice to have
- Academic background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Chemistry.
- Interest in computerized systems and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Fluency in both English and German.
