A 9-12 month internship in Basel supporting Compliance and Data Integrity within Pharma Technical Development, focusing on regulatory impact analysis and system upgrades.
This position sits within the Operations Support & Compliance team at Roche Chemical Manufacturing and Trading Company AG in Basel. The intern assists the department by evaluating how new regulations affect current systems, equipment, and software, ensuring continued compliance and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Analyze relevant literature to support project goals.
- Complete training on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing or analytical equipment.
- Develop a change management roadmap for existing equipment software, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Regularly update supervisors on progress and define subsequent project steps.
- Draft a comprehensive final report summarizing findings and actions.
- Examine draft Annex 11 guidelines and outline expectations for Supplier and Service Management.
- Propose three distinct measures to satisfy regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university or graduated within the last 12 months.
- Strong interest in computerized systems and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ability to work reliably and accurately within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) setting.
- Collaborative mindset with strong decision-making capabilities.
- Self-directed approach with a focus on problem-solving.
- Proficient skills in MS-Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Academic background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Chemistry.
- Fluency in both English and German.
