Roche seeks an Enablement Operations Manager (9-month maternity cover) in Kaiseraugst to support RSS leadership with strategic planning, project coordination, and team development in a global healthcare environment.

Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) operates as a global business unit with over 3,700 staff focused on modernizing Roche's internal processes. This position supports the RSS leadership by managing strategic initiatives, coordinating global events, and ensuring alignment across the organization so that teams can concentrate on patient-focused work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support for the Head of RSS Strategy and Enablement and the broader leadership group by preparing management presentations, memos, strategy papers, and other necessary content.
  • Manage the global RSS event schedule, including leadership meetings, site visits, forecasting sessions, and operational or financial reviews.
  • Define agendas for RSS Leadership meetings, document meeting outcomes, and track the progress of agreed-upon action items.
  • Apply professional expertise to direct and guide strategic projects.
  • Assist with the annual RSS planning cycle, including strategy and roadmap evaluations, alongside quarterly OKR reviews.
  • Oversee and develop the RSS enabling support team.

Requirements

  • Possess a university degree in business or a related discipline, complemented by 5 to 8 years of professional experience, preferably within business services, healthcare, or strategy consulting.
  • Demonstrate a history of supporting senior leaders or leadership teams through consulting or direct roles, with a focus on driving change, harmonization, and alignment.
  • Show strong communication skills capable of explaining complex business concepts and influencing stakeholders to adopt new approaches or perspectives.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in creating management-level presentations, including storyboarding, content development, and simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Maintain strong business acumen, with a firm grasp of finance, strategic planning, organizational development, and benchmarking principles.
  • Display a reputation for effective cross-team collaboration, influence, and adaptability to shifting priorities in a rapid-paced setting.
  • Approach work with an open and inclusive mindset, freely sharing knowledge while welcoming feedback and ideas from others.
  • Be fluent in English at a business level; German language skills are highly beneficial.
