Integrated Medical Engagement Change Management Lead

Roche seeks an Integrated Medical Engagement Change Management Lead in Basel to drive organizational transformation and modernize medical communication models through structured change management strategies.

This position serves as a catalyst for significant organizational change within the medical network, bridging current operational standards with a future focused on personalized scientific exchange. The role is central to evolving medical engagement by defining the necessary tools, processes, and cultural shifts required for long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive transformation strategies from start to finish.
• Act as the main change leader for key work packages and initiatives.
• Cultivate a culture of experimentation and continuous growth throughout the medical network.
• Build and support a community of change champions to facilitate widespread adoption of new practices.
• Implement learning programs that enhance digital capabilities across the workforce.
• Partner with Commercial, Digital, and Technology divisions to maintain a unified Roche approach.
• Guarantee that all initiatives comply with legal, regulatory, and internal corporate standards.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in life sciences (such as a PhD, PharmD, or MD) or substantial experience in organizational development.
• At least five years of professional experience within Medical Affairs.
• Demonstrated expertise in applying formal change management methodologies like Prosci/ADKAR or Kotter.
• Skill in developing persuasive arguments that justify the need for change.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to communicate effectively with medical, digital, and commercial stakeholders.
• Robust project management capabilities to oversee complex initiatives.

• Prior experience working within Agile environments.
