Sales Solutions Engineer - EMEA

Sonar seeks a Mid-level Sales Solutions Engineer for the EMEA region to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process and support customer adoption of AI-driven code review tools.

This position sits within the Solutions Engineering group, acting as a technical bridge between Sonar and prospective clients. The primary objective is to guide customers through technical evaluations, ensuring their software development lifecycles align with Sonar's 'Clean as You Code' methodology. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Development teams to drive business opportunities and ensure successful product integration.

Responsibilities

• Explain how Sonar's 'Clean as You Code' philosophy integrates into the customer's existing software development workflow.
• Lead technical demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, addressing their specific evaluation needs.
• Recommend optimal deployment strategies that match the customer's preferred infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during the product evaluation phase.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to facilitate smooth product adoption and expansion post-sale.
• Educate current clients on the advanced features available in higher-tier product editions.
• Train and enable channel partners to enhance their service delivery capabilities.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong ability to analyze complex technical challenges, devise solutions, and clearly articulate findings.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills, including the capacity to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Proficient in delivering clear and engaging technical presentations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in software development or DevOps engineering.
• Knowledge of local and cloud deployment technologies, such as Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
• German language proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
