Scherer & Bühler AG seeks a Senior SAP Processes & Applications Specialist in Uzwil, CH, to support the regional Center of Processes and Applications (COPA) across Southeast Asia and Oceania. The role involves leading the Customer Service stream, aligning global SAP initiatives with regional needs, and driving process optimization and talent development.
This role supports the regional Center of Processes and Applications (COPA) by leading a team of IT experts across Finance/Controlling, Customer Service, Customer Projects, and Supply Chain Logistics. It involves shaping and executing the COPA strategy for Southeast Asia and Oceania, ensuring global solutions are adapted to regional requirements, and facilitating the rollout of initiatives such as the Small Entity Template (SET). The specialist also contributes to talent development and ensures alignment between regional operations and global IT standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the regional COPA team across Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), Customer Service (CS), Customer Projects (CP), and Supply Chain Logistics (SCL).
- Lead the Customer Service (CS) stream and organize regional superuser alignment for this area.
- Help develop and implement the COPA strategy for Southeast Asia and Oceania.
- Ensure global IT initiatives are adapted to regional needs and successfully rolled out.
- Facilitate the deployment of global solutions, including the Small Entity Template (SET), across the region.
- Support regional ITP projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinate with regional business stakeholders to understand and address user needs.
- Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across the region.
- Assist in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Monitor and report on the performance of regional IT applications and processes.
- Ensure compliance with regional and global IT policies, standards, and governance.
- Support the Team Manager, COPA SEA, in building the team’s knowledge base and capabilities.
- Provide high-quality support to regional users beyond individual stream responsibilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in IT processes and applications.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and one additional Asian language.
- 5–7 years of experience in IT Project Management, Process Management, Application Management, or IT Management.
- Experience in multinational companies.
- Proven track record in supporting and implementing SAP solutions.
- Strong background in business process optimization and application management.
