Senior AI Consultant

Artifactsa, a fast-growing AI and data science consultancy in Zürich, seeks a Senior AI Consultant to help clients turn AI ambitions into measurable business outcomes. The role requires 4+ years in AI consulting, strategic thinking, and fluency in German and English, with a flexible work model and opportunities to shape a growing startup.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and innovative workshops on integrating AI and analytics into business operations.
• Design and lead AI strategies across multiple industries, focusing on using analytics to address complex business problems.
• Manage project streams or functions, ensuring alignment with overall goals and successful delivery.
• Oversee AI solution development in roles such as agile Product Owner or AI Project Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in AI and analytics roles, with a solid grasp of business applications and organizational dynamics.
• At least 4 years in consulting, with experience across diverse industries and projects.
• 2+ years dedicated to strategy development and execution, including creating actionable roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to senior leaders in English and German.
• Strong structured thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
• Experience collaborating with virtual, distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
• Swiss citizenship, valid Swiss work permit, or citizenship of an EU/EFTA country.
• Intention to start within 1-3 months of application.

• Proactive learner with interest in emerging AI and analytics trends, applying new knowledge to client projects.
• Experience in leadership roles such as project management or stream lead, demonstrating ability to drive projects to completion.
• Background in life sciences, CPG, financial services, or retail industries is advantageous.
