Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of significant application upgrades and transformation programs, guaranteeing adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and schedules.
- Provide technical direction for business-critical applications throughout their lifecycle, focusing on operational excellence, security, scalability, and system stability.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, architects, external vendors, and engineering groups to align goals, solve issues, and support strategic decisions.
- Champion modernization efforts, automation, and continuous improvement processes to boost efficiency, service reliability, and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee and coordinate offshore engineering and support teams, ensuring proper governance, clear direction, and effective delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Significant experience in leading software development and application management within the banking sector.
- Demonstrated success in executing complex application migration, upgrade, or transformation initiatives while managing distributed teams.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise applications, the software development lifecycle, production support, release management, and contemporary engineering methodologies.
- Strong capabilities in leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving, with professional-level fluency in English.
