(Senior) Consultant – IT Architecture, Technology Strategy & Transformation

Deloitte AG in Zürich seeks a (Senior) Consultant in IT Architecture, Technology Strategy & Transformation. The role involves translating client strategies into enterprise architecture, supporting solution design, and bridging business and IT teams. Hybrid work model, full-time position.

This role focuses on turning client strategies into practical enterprise architecture, supported by experienced colleagues. It involves collaborating with architects to define solutions for large-scale programmes, overseeing implementation, and acting as a key link between business and IT to deliver real client value.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and team members to convert strategic goals into enterprise architecture designs
• Assist enterprise, business, and solution architects in shaping solution architectures for major projects
• Oversee solution implementation and help coordinate cross-functional delivery teams
• Perform analysis, join workshops and progress meetings, and create architecture documentation and presentations
• Serve as a connector between business and IT to ensure impactful client outcomes

Requirements

• Degree in applied mathematics, computer science, or a related field
• Initial professional experience in software, solution, and enterprise architecture
• Strong communication skills in both English and German
• Openness to travel, primarily within Switzerland

Nice to have

• Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle
• Background in managing business and IT stakeholders and leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Certifications such as TOGAF, IT project management, or Open Group Certified Architect
• Additional proficiency in French
