Senior Data Modeler (Snowflake)

Fusion Consulting AG seeks a Senior Data Modeler to design and implement scalable physical data models in Snowflake for pharmaceutical clients, ensuring governance and performance.

The company is integrating regional data warehouses into a centralized Snowflake platform for pharmaceutical clients. This position focuses on building physical data models and implementations within Snowflake, working alongside data engineering, architecture, and governance teams to ensure the platform remains efficient, scalable, and compliant with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy physical data models in Snowflake with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Convert conceptual and logical designs into functional Snowflake schemas, tables, and views.
• Partner with data engineers to improve ETL/ELT workflows and data integration strategies.
• Ensure models and metadata align with governance frameworks and tools like Collibra.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all modeling and transformation logic to support traceability and compliance.
• Assist in tuning and optimizing data pipelines for better performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across a distributed, global team.
